The All New Yamaha FZ-FI
The new FZFI with a Blue Core concept driven 149 cc engine now with "Side stand engine cutoff switch" and Bluetooth-enabled "Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X". The FZFI has compression ratio of 9.6:1 and delivering a maximum 12.4 PS power @ 7,250 r/min and 13.3 N.m torque @ 5,500 r/min with single channel ABS with disc brakes in the front & rear wheel along with negative LCD instrument cluster and a single piece two level seat.
Enhanced Performance and Mileage
The silhouette of FZ FI has been given a forward lean to create a "Forward Massive Form" design that expresses a sense of hidden power. This was achieved by harmonizing the fuel tank design with its pushed forward look, the compact tail assembly, the short muffler and other elements.
149cc Powerful FI Engine
The new FZ-FI model mounts an air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected "BLUE CORE" engine, and engine's settings were optimized to further polish the feeling of superior acceleration from stops and exhilarating feeling when overtaking. The ignition timing and injection ma z ps for the fuel injection system were completely redone so that riders get a good feeling of acceleration while still enjoying the laidback, upright riding position.
It provides an excellent shock-absorbing performance and a good feeling of stability during braking. The rear suspension is a lightweight Monocross suspension unit that contributes to mass centralization and provides 120mm of wheel travel, which is tuned for good balance between the spring rate and damping force.
Front 1ch ABS & Disc Brake
Front Disc with Bosch Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) helps in achieving greater control over the bike during braking by restricting the wheel lock ups thereby maintaining tractive contact with the road surface to avoid skidding in slippery conditions. Rear Disc brake augments more quality to the long legacy of FZ braking system.
In-Built Side Stand Engine cut-off Switch
The days that you ride off without your side stand deployed are behind you. With the In-built side stand engine cut-off switch, you can be rest assured that you do not forget to remove side stand during those immediate rides.
140mm Wide Radial Tyre
100/80-17 at the front and a 140/60-17 radial tyre at the rear offers low rolling resistance and deliver great fuel economy and good grip.
Negative LCD Instrument Cluster
The Negative LCD instrument cluster panel has a black background and white lettering. Digital speedometer, bar-style tachometer above, and a fuel gauge are constantly displayed, along with ABS warning lamp while the odometer, Trip 1, Trip 2, F Trip, clock and others can be selected for display. There is also an ECO indicator to enable more fuel-efficient riding
E20 Fuel Compatible
E20 Fuel reduce the emissions and is wonderful option for cutting down on pollution. As part of our carbon reduction commitments, We have updated the FZ series to be compatible with E20 Fuel.
The lower engine fairing has been introduced to reduce mud and dirt splatter. The under cowl has been designed to enhance the sporty look of the bike.
